I'm Chris Marcille
As of May, 2017 I am embarking on a new career as a paralegal for a highly reputable Immigration Law Firm in Jenkintown, PA. Being a paralegal appears to be quite the career jump, but I think it's less of a jump than many suspect. I will be writing, editing, and creating forward facing documents. Words and sentences are still my passion as well as my career.
Until recently, I was a linguist--specializing in SLA--working as an ESL teacher to amazing students! They taught me all about the world's many languages and cultures. As of this moment (April, 2017) I've taught students from:
Algeria, Argentina, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Cambodia, China, Czech Republic, Colombia, Congo, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Eritrea, Finland, France, French Polynesia, Georgia, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Isreal, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Lebanon, Mali, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Myanmar, Netherlands, Nigeria, Palestine, Paraguay, Poland, Romania, Russia, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, The United States, Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen ...
I (try to) bike to work and advocate for more walkable and bikable cities.
I take photos, though not as much as I used to. I prefer candid shots of streets and people doing their thing. Monochrome and noise is gorgeous.
